This is the next to last 1ST Round match with SHOP vs DKNG to follow. Both of these matches will remain open for evaluation until late Sunday evening.

Sea Limited is a heavy hitter in the digital entertainment, eCommerce and Fintech arenas, respectively, with primary clout in Southeast Asia and Latin American with Betty Davis eyes focused on International Amazon type dreams. It has a chance to be a bigger, heavier hitter, but in the process they are bleeding cash.

PLTR on the other hand is somewhat stealthier. Company has been around a long time and appears to sign huge lucrative contracts, especially with the Government, in bushel baskets. That's gotta count for something - doesn't it? If it gets its commercial side rolling PLTR is an investment that will pay off big time.

Reminds me of another Tortoise and Rabbit story here.

A couple of quick Comps:

1) Market Cap:

Sea Limited $111.66B

Palantir Tech $44.3B

2) Revenue Growth Latest Report:

Sea Limited 101.6% Y/Y

Palantir Tech 40% Y/Y

Now if you just look at the two comps above you may be tempted to skip the game and just vote for SE - however, those two comps are a large part of the reason that SE is a #3 seed and PLTR is a #13 seed. But - a number of #13 seeds have reached the Sweet 16 over the years and 13s have a 21% chance of taking out the #3s. Could happen.

...........................West Regional: #3 SE vs #13 PLTR.............................

Number 3 seed SE - A Modern Business Trifecta of Digital Entertainment, eCommerce and Finch

Here is what SE says about SE:

"We Serve - We Adapt - We Run - We Commit - We Stay Humble" - We Print Our Own SeaMoney!

I made up that last part true enough but they do and who in the world would bet against a company that is so modern it just prints its own currency? Why no one....of course. Although, you better check that out - could be more to it than that I suppose. Here's more:

"Our mission is to better the lives of our customers and small businesses with technology. We operate core businesses across digital entertainment, e-commerce, as well as digital payments and financial services, known as Garena, Shoppee, and SeaMoney (told ya), respectively."

1) Now why'd he go and do that?

The Fool Weighs In:

To sum up here: Sure you can go for the shooting star Amazon wannabe here - the hot girl at the bar who looks like a Sports Illustrated model...sure you can do that. Or you can go for the tested and true, rock steady, multi talented, sensible shoes type. And true enough, either could be great portfolio partners that help you create happiness and wealth; however, one of those is risker than the other and might leave you broke.

All the Best,
