Does anyone know what data is sent when you e-file. Specifically on Schedule D there is a box to describe the stocks, bonds, etc. sold...does this description get sent in an e-filing or do just the amounts and dates get sent? Likewise on a Schedule B do the names of the payers get sent or just the amounts? I know on a tax transcript these descriptions do not appear. Is the data sent in an e-filing the same(or is it more comprehensive) than the data that appears on a tax transcript? Thanks.
