I was a little surprised to see that TMF did not include a software "poll" and include Adobe in it. I think I would rather see that then the poll that had Disney, News Corp., and NY Times. Maybe the RM port is trying to stay a from tech. stocks since the port DOES have alot of them.

I saw someone had posted a poll for SW companies. I think Veritas should also be included in as well. But it may be more of a RB than RM. But if I had to pick from Adobe, Oracle, and Siebel, I would pick Adobe. From what I have seen, Adobe has a little bit better financials and Oracles new business direction should be a factor as well. Oracle is in the enterprise software market, which has been slowing down recently. Because of this, they are now trying to shift most of their attentiont to the e-Business and B2B software market. From what I understand, so far, there are no clear winners in this segment of the market yet, so Oracles position as the "top dog" could be in question.

They may be number one enterprise software, but the market is slowing. So I think from reading the recent Adobe articles on the Fool, Adobe has a lot more room for growth than Oracle would.

Dont know too much about Siebel.

Just my take,
