These are the books I've read since around September, a mix of popular bestsellers, established classics, and a few oddities. The surprise of this bunch was "Becoming Duchess Goldblatt: A Memoir," a book that reaffirmed my sense of hopefulness in a bitter, difficult year. I've even started to follow her on Twitter. The year 2021 began with "How the Light Gets In" by Louise Penny, which I finished this morning.
