What other things do you do to slow down?

Gardening...which also requires doing things at the right times versus "when I have time". The cycles of the seasons require our attention at the correct time.

Wood working....more latitude time wise yet this craft, to be good, requires attention to detail and careful measurements rather than speed and hurry.

Writing with an old fashioned fountain really cannot hurry.
(I also do Caligraphy...a beautiful art form now mostly forgotten)

Actually almost everything we do can be slowed down...all things done with care, attention, and mindfullness is wise (it beings back pride of work)
