What we do is have an Alaska Airlines Visa (through Banco de America, sadly) and put everything on the card, then pay it off monthly. For us that piles up a lot of miles, enabling DW to fly home to Anchorage at least once a year and visit family. For people who have the discipline not to carry card balances, this is a good method.
