What You Will Learn In Engineering School

Boy that bring back memories.....I remember hearing about a class where the prof. was ordered to recurve all the grades because the department head said "The classroom holds 96 students, and there are 93 students enrolled for next year...so you can't fail half the class." Though I heard that following year they didn't have that problem with the ME's...

Or, the prof. that frequently showed up drunk...and the final exam was identical to the one he gave least year, except it had one less question. He's the reason they made it possible to revoke tenure. Oh yeah....the course's lab final was how fast could you press the buttons on a DSA.

How about I did 7 courses in my final semester....piled in two electives, because I wanted to finish in 4 years....got D's on both of them....."D for Degree". Good thing they were multiple choice exams....one class (early morning one)...I only showed up to 3 classes...the first day and the two midterms. Never cracked the text book.

I remember sitting in the front row once....I did it because I was late....probably wouldn't have been so bad, if I didn't spill hot coffee on my lap.

Some times I miss being an EE student.
