It's a small movement, but still movement.

The select committee did as expected and passed a resolution to hold Bannon in contempt of Congress for failure to appear on his subpoena.

Now, on to the full House. That vote is expected on Thursday.

Of course, none of this will actually make Bannon tell what he knows. But at least it's a small step in the right direction for the rule of law.

The real question is whether the wheels of justice, through the select committee's investigation, will yield any real results before the next election, where there is the distinct possibility the lawless will again take control of the House and this investigation would be stifled.
