When I started the whole medical gig, I was hoping to "retire" by 50. Missed that boat by 3 years, divorce from DW 1.0 was expensive but in this case it was well worth it. Was ready to retire when we finalized plans to move and DW 2.0 definitely retired. By word of mouth, found a job in a county hospital. Figured I'd give it a try, had nothing to loose.

A little over 3 months in and I'm enjoying my profession again. I was definitely burned out. A change of scenery, on multiple levels, has done me a world of good. Plus, I have so much time off that it really feels like a part time job.

I know the newness hasn't worn off yet, so a little bit of rose colored glasses, but I'll keep working as long as I enjoy it.
