When my Uncle died in 1988 he had an account with his name and my fathers name on it. This account had about $70,000 in it and it never had to go thru probate. It went directly to my Dad. My Uncle left everything to my Dad and my other Uncle. My Dad split the money with my other Uncle because it was the right thing to do.
