I was very unfoolish/Foolish(?) and trusted the Wise to handle my money. I have a rollover IRA acct (10 specific, mainly industrial type stocks) at Schwab with a particular fund manager that I was advised did wonderful things, 24% or there abouts return. Long story short: I went in with $25K one year ago, am now at $20K not including the 300+ commission charges, in addition to the last two quarters being charged $150+ management fee, which I assume will continue. Yikes, this is embarrassing to admit to, but a learning lesson. My soon to be former, Financial Adviser, is becoming less friendly as I become more informed and is bandying about increasingly difficult terms and tells me I agree to be in for the long haul. I am but should I be at these rates? Thanks for any insights.
