Folks,

I am almost an investor. I have a small pile of cash, a broker, and a love for Cisco's fundamentals. I want to get a good deal on it, though. Here's my question: Do I buy it right now or do I wait for a potential market-wide dip (read: buying opportunity) for Y2K at the end of the year? Are the Foolish Pros expecting the market to go down as individual and institutional investors play it safe and sell off their holdings.

Am I being clever or should I just pay what they're asking and hold it until I croak?

Thanks in advance,
afullen
