Where is it written that rain that falls on Lebanon belongs to Israel?

It isn't...

I fear this water issue is going to only get worse as the decades go by, especially in that part of the world. It is terribly unfortunate that our modern societies waste such an incredible amount of water. Imagine what we would save if people had composting toilets for example, or runnoff recovery systems on the roofs of their houses, or grey water recovery in their homes which could be used to water lawns, gardens and so on...or flush toilets if you don't like the composting idea ;)

Unfortunately (it seems) the people with the power would rather wage a war than find methods of conservation which would allow enough water for everyone to drink, clean themselves, and grow their food. I was just reading that the Israelis have the highest per capita water usage in the region (no surprise). That being the case it would seem, to the reasonable individual, that conservation on their part should be the first order of the day. Not war.
