Whichever vehicle you choose, I'd go with the extended cab. These trucks are pretty small inside. The added expense will pay off in convenience (and resale value).

The extended cab will cut also down on your towing capacity, but you're going to be pretty close to maxed out anyway towing the combo you describe. Maybe it would be better to just ship (or drive) your T'Bird to FL? (In fact, maybe, your T'Bird could tow the pickup?)
