While I can't say that I find the Soylent Green (Green for money or mold?) approach attractive in either formulation, I do have to wonder about a couple of things.

How exactly does a person consume a job? Even the unemployed create jobs for employment department workers and the like. Consume public money without contributing [money], perhaps, but jobs? How does an individual make a job go away?

I also have to disagree about equating wealth with virtue. To be sure, there are some people of wealth who fit your description, but there are also a lot of people with inherited money, stolen money, money acquired by cheating and exploitation, etc.
