As always I enjoyed your article. However, I find this quote somewhat disturbing:

(The stock market is always forward-looking, so if you wait for companies to report improved results, you'll miss the opportunity.)

This makes it sound as if you have to catch everything at the bottom. It's an illustrious goal but I think it is safe to say that timing the market is not a good long term strategy. A small modification and I would have be quite happy with the whole article:

(The stock market is always forward-looking, so if you wait for companies to report improved results, you'll miss out on maximizing the opportunity.)

You won't actually miss the opportunity, just getting the most out of it. Don't you agree?
