A Plagiarism Claim Has Cookbook Authors Asking.

scroll to 14-min narrated article (and the print article)

I found this interesting. Normally when I cook something new, I read several recipes online and do my own riff. Occasionally I follow one recipe as written or nearly so. I have also made up my own recipes. I confess I haven't opened any of my numerous cookbooks in years. It's so much easier to Google than to peruse and open several cookbooks, not even knowing if something you want is in them. I rarely even look at the Kindle cookbooks I downloaded to my iPad--they don't have clickable indexes. I've stopped buying cookbooks. If I ever experience boredom/ennui, I can open my prettily illustrated cookbooks for entertainment.
