Indeed. Although there will always be cases of idiosyncratic reactions to most any food items, by definition such reactions are rare events.

These sweeteners have been on the market and used widely since the 1980s. Even if one wanted to believe that they were introduced with inadequate testing, the sheer numbers of folk using them on a regular basis.....along with investigations of claims that they're "unhealthy".....suggests that for most folk they really are perfectly safe. Along with being a useful calorie reduction tool for folk who just can't overcome a sweet tooth.
