LU has always been both a customer and a competitor to JDSU. For the most part the stuff LU makes it consumes itself. Still, LU makes optical component sales to the market. These sales are not a significant portion of LU's revenue when compared to their other business lines. This point highlights one of the challenges for JDSU going forward: balancing its relationships with companies that sit on both sides of the table. Thanks,Peter Long LU, JDSULU closed @ 75 up 2 5/16JDSU closed @ 171.25 up 7 15/16</LU Sits on Both Sides of the Table>
