For the car-
I was told that Runflat tires by default have much stiffer side ply walls which allow them to run for an additional 30 miles or so with a puncture, which is fine if you have a flat tire, but if you don’t then you can expect a tire that will run fine on a straight away but as soon as you make a turn in either direction then you have a tire that has no give in its’ sidewall, hence it will run like a non-neumatic or solid rubber tire like those on a tricycle and if all your driving is done in the city or suburbs then you’ll be turning left or right most of the time.
