I am mostly a lurker, learning great things from the minds on this board. One thing I greatly appreciate is the frim commitment by board members here NOT to include every company in the tech universe in the gorilla category. Most other boards start with a good premise in terms of how they look at stocks in their purview, but their portfolios rapidly become bloated and meaningless, because NO ONE is left behind. In my view this becomes Warren Buffett's nightmare - "diworsification" - kind of like Noah's ark, two of everything. At any rate, my point is that I like the process of selectively and critically examining all the players, modifying our choices as new info becomes available and maitaining a narrow focus.

Thanks for educating me!

Bernie

"diworsification"

I first heard of this term from reading Peter Lynch. Did Warren Buffet coin it first?

I think it's really Lynch's term.
