Will most cognitive work done by human beings be taken over by Artificial Intelligence?

Back office work?
Insurance pricing?
News reporting?

The video in this thread suggests quite a big shift.

How does one try to get ahead of this wave of change?

Invest in content (art, movies, recordings)?

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. AI doesn't work well enough to do a routine conversation, like set up an dental appointment. But we're going to trust it to make decisions on insurance pricing where not understanding one little nuance might cost the company millions? Seems unlikely in the next 10 years.

That being said if one could develop and AI and keep it to themselves, one could probably dominate any industry they so chose to. An AI that could improve injection molding process by .1% per some CPU time period is obviously going to be impossible to keep up. This same logic could be applied to most other industries.
