I forgot about him, but he was one of those who worked for Ronald Reagan a long time.

For those of us who worked with National Security Directives, Clark was the author of the best known, NSD 75:

"To promote, within the narrow limits available to us, the process of change in the Soviet Union toward a more pluralistic political and economic system in which the power of the privileged ruling class is gradually reduced."

Or as Reagan called it, "We win, they lose."

And it would appear NSD 75 is applicable to the current administration in the US.

Oh, how times change.
