In accessing my Wingspan account lately, I logged off the site and realized I needed to see some info on a previously visited site. I hit my back buttons a few times and was able to view the page on Wingspan that shows my account number and my balances.

I knew that this was not correct, so I emailed Wingspan customer support. The response I received was that I should clear my cache each time after I log off the site to clear those pages.

This is poor programming and I verified this by trying this on other secure sites (Citibank, First Internet Bank of Indiana, AMEX). On each of these sites, I could not view any secure information and I received an error message that if I wished to view secure information I would have to log back into those sites.

Anyone considering opening a Wingspan account should consider this an important security violation. And for those of us with Wingspan accounts, beware.
