With the exception of a few real pacifist I don't think anyone in America cares what the Iraq is do to each other. I think Bushco has made that political calculation in how they are handling the situation.

American casualties continue but the press is downplaying that aspect. This is limiting the political fallout. Bush's approval ratings are probably accurate, but this has not translated into any real motivation for change. This is all something, somewhere else for Americans. Nothing here really effects our daily lives.

At least that is the way I see it.
