Wondering how the latest press release from NTE is being viewed by you guys?

Hi ztlclay,

I'm not sure which "guys" you're referring to, as it's just me running the MUE port. :-)

This morning's release about what management saw as the effect from Japan's earthquake and tusnami on the business isn't too surprising to me. I knew that they had a fair number of suppliers in Japan and that these would be affected negatively by the results of the natural disaster in Japan. Not so much the direct effects of the tsunami and earthquake, but the lingering effects, primarily the problems with constant, reliable electrical power.

I summed up my thoughts in the last buy article, where I purchased more shares at the end of March. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2011/03/30/rising-star... At this point, I'm not planning on adding to my position, as it currently sits at 4% of my initial total funds and it doesn't rank as a "high conviction" 6% position.

I don't think this spells disaster for the company, but it's going to be a problem over then next few quarters. That's okay, though. I'm patient.

Cheers,
Jim
