Worse for me is when the page jerks after the ad loads, I am usually trying to click on something and miss having to make several clicks to do what I want. If the page is going to pop errors in after loading, id rather the page wait for the ad height (minimally) or the entire image and load once with the ad and no jerky page action. Ive seen the page jerk twice to adjust to incoming adds which is even worse.
