Would Sasha have won if she didn't fall, twice? The scoring says no.

I just got caught up on watching (TiVo is a wonderful thing) and I say yes. Because while the scores put Shizuka Arakawa ahead artistically, I do not for a minute believe that Sasha's artistic scores weren't influenced by her falls.

I was disappointed that there were no out and out wonderful performances. Nothing against Shizuka, but what made her win is that she didn't fall. She had good jumps and didn't fall. It wasn't a glorious performace. It wasn't an arresting program.

Oh well, on to World's!
