Wow, I like that car a lot. I drive a roadster currently, and would consider switching to electric one at some point in the future (although this one's a bit rich for my blood). In fact, an electric car would fit very well with my typical driving habits. We take our other car on long trips, so range isn't a factor.

This roadster is probably reasonably priced at $80k, considering the performance numbers it boasts. 0-60 in 4 seconds puts it in some pretty rare company (Viper, Corvette, 911 Turbo, and up). I would like to hear more about its weight and handling performance, though.

The one major issue I see for this car compared to similar performers is track-ability (is that a word?). Gas burning cars can easily be refueled between sessions, but the electric car cannot. Also, I have a feeling that the 250 mile range would be significantly reduced during track sessions (VERY different from EPA highway testing). I'd also like to see how well the motor manages heat buildup under that kind of heavy use.

Still, I like the idea of a performance electric vehicle, and hope there are some lower priced options available the next time I'm in the market.
