In just a little while, I'll be heading up to the high tech vet today with my chemo dog. She's having elective procedures done.

Surgery to remove two blobs of skin directly below her canine teeth, esophageal swab to see what may be causing her off and on cough and/or confirm it's just an allergy problem and then a dental scaling, appears she has a broken tooth and they are nasty looking.

I've been full of anxiety and concern the past few days about it all. I think it's the right thing to do and the surgeon and vet says she's strong enough to undergo it, but still I think if it goes badly, I'll have endless guilt over it all.

Not sure if she'll be coming home later or not, depends on surgeon.

I ask the board to be thinking of her and sending positive energy and thoughts her way.

Thanks.
