I am 0-2 years away from retirement and am concerned about the affects of Y2K and the year 2000 on the stock market.

My 401K is split between S&P500, cap funds, a global funds, and PH.

I am thinking about moving my money into a bond fund until after the new year. My concern is that the market does not typically deal well with change (ie new millenium). I expect that people will begin to withdraw their money for safety reasons and cause a general decline in the market if not a full crash.

Any opinions?
