Yeah, that idea crossed my mind, but in this particular instance institutional ownership is 118.4% while shares short is only 10.4% so the net difference is still greater than 100%. It's easy to chalk it up to Yahoo Finance statistics being unreliable, but I've seen this on more than one occasion and just wondered if there was another explanation. Thanks
