Yes, less damage than it seemed at first, but the main structure held up great... It's difficult to picture the scale of the columns, ceilings, the rosettes from the ground, not as huge as Spain's Le Familia which is always under construction, but similar...

Indeed, the huge history is the importance to me, walking those steps, seeing it as it was, the worn steps of these old cathedrals leading to upper levels, awesome. I try to get access, climb as far up as they will let me, bell towers, tight spiral stairs that were built into he original structures.. Fun, get your heart pumping nicely!
