YESNJ> why on the price chart u dont see the price sharply jump down to half if there is a 2:1 split at that date???

Dear YESNJ,
I've noticed that on the charts over at Bigcharts.com too . . . I think it is because they 'split adjust' the figures prior to the split so that one is looking more at what the 'value' of an investment would be worth rather than the 'raw price' of one share.
