Some of you may be familiar with the Java based picture puzzles I've
posted on HURL for the past eight years. If not, here's the latest:

Making one involves an image, a .class file and a brief script. With a
number of people abandoning Java due to security concerns, it's been
suggested that I look for another method of creating these, preferably
HTML-5. The expert suggesting HTML-5 offered no further advice, except
that he thought it could be done that way.

Any suggestions for achieving the same result without use of Java?
