You are so right about affluent neighbor hoods, they throw out nothing of value, even their garage sales are terrible.

I can't agree with you about this. Maybe it depends on the neighborhood or just on its inhabitants, but I've found terrific stuff in upper-middle-class 'hoods. Also at their yard sales.

The middle class areas are the best in Michigan.

It's good that you know your turf so well!
