You bought their baloney numbers -- I don't.

I live in the place mentioned in the article, in a house built in 1942, in a neighborhood that can't be more than a couple of miles from the one mentioned in the article because Bethesda isn't all that big. A I have had to do extensive renovation on my house, renovation that has been documented on this board. Based on my personal knowledge, the numbers are not baloney. Not even close. Except that she did exceptionally well buying a house, even a trashed one, for that little. And also had to have worked hard to keep the renovation costs down.

ThyPeace, realizes that not everyone has experience with housing costs like these. However, they are real.
