As a white pastor, I certainly am convicted in reading it and trying to assimilate its message.

None of us so privileged as to have been brought up not fearing the police, or assuming our system is a fair one for all Americans can afford to persist in the delusion that the American experiment is a finished one, or that at this moment in time, the Republican Party is intent upon reversing the gains made in the protection of basic civil and voting rights
