You have an uncanny ability to argue convincingly from both sides.

I don't believe one fully understands an issue unless one can argue from both sides. If I can make the best argument of the opposition and still be unconvinced then I think my opinion is as intelligent as I can make it.

In any case, I don't think my positions have been contradictory. I don't think ID is good science but I also don't think there is an inherent contradiction between faith and science. Theism and atheism are both rational POVs, it all depends on one's starting assumptions.
