You paid 5.75% front end load to get in the fund. That is one reason it is underperforming the Vanguard fund. The minimum amount you can invest is pretty low, most "No-Load" funds have a larger minimum investment. whether you should switch is probably a toss-up since you haave paid the front-end load. Most managed junds underperform the S&P 500 index funds. I have my granddaughters money in Vanguard Small Cap jund which is greatly underperforming the Index-500 fund. I expect better performanve over the years. They are in no hurry.
