yu-no-who's IDEAS and ARGUMENTS (not him personally of course <VBG>) about the SWR are completely out to lunch because he claims that there is hidden data AND distortions in Shiller's FIXED INCOME and STOCK databases that intercst used in his SWR study. He also FALSELY claims that there are only 4 independant variables in the 135 year FIXED INCOME and STOCK databases. The fact that there are 105 thirty-year rolling periods that are traditionally used in any FINANCE 101 course doesn't phase him--but that's an old story.

Let's make an assumption that yu-no-who is RIGHT (God forbid!). If he's correct, that means that the other asset classes' databases he wants (SOMEONE ELSE) to investigate are MORE DISTORTED and LESS STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT than the fixed income and stock database.

If I'm allowed to use a medical analogy, he's saying intercst's SHARP Swiss Army Knife is not good enough to do an appendectomy. But he wants SOMEONE ELSE to demonstrate that his proposed DULL AXE can be a better tool.

Is it any wonder why many of us just make fun of his IDEAS <grin>?
