Yuh said, "I'm at a loss on how to get some nutrition into them."

When my son wuz born his pediratrician gave us some wonderful advice. to wit: "No child has ever starved to death when there wax good healthy food available. Put it on his plate. If he doesn't eat it, then let him/her wait till the next meal. No snacks and sweets in between. They will eat."

Also, I was raised in the thirties, food was at a premium, from the garden and from hunting, plus whatever. We were glad to eat whatever my mother cooked on put on our plates. We were not allowed to express a dislike, my father had been a Chief Boatswain in the "Old NavY" when the ships were made of wood and the sailors were made of iron.

Maybe the real question is, who's "Boss"?? Do our children have to pleased at every instance and have all wishes gratified??
