Time frame is very difficult to estimate especially when dealing with the FDA. When a company has a drug/treatment that shows significantly positive results the company can request "fast-track" status. Though the treatment of cancers with antibody therapy is revolutionary, the results are not what I would consider dramatic enough to qualify to get immediate review. I will check with my sources, but it could be at least a year before any of these therapies are approved and brought to market.
It seems that the market is focused on potential these days and IMMU has plenty. I personally have seen lives changed with Embrel and infliximab. I believe that many, many good things will come now that technology has been developed to "humanize " the antibodies so that serum sickness is not a problem with repeated administration. This is what held therapy back in years past. IMHO this area of research holds mich more promise that knowing the human genome.
Before you sell any of your shares the best source of information regarding this company is on the yahoo board. There are two posters to pay particular attention to: idahoranch and oncologymd. Both of these posters are very insightful regarding the future of IMMU.
I have a very reliable source who is traveling to the company headquarters soon to evaluate their trial data prior to FDA submission. I will be happy to post his findings and evaluation as soon as I know. I think it will be positive because he is the one who told me to buy this stock in the single digits, unfortunately I waited a little too long but did jump on and have enjoyed the ride since. Right now the recommendation is hold, hold, hold. We are seeing some consolidation after a huge run up.
