Maybe they didn't cover that in Financial Advisor school?

Good point-but still inadequate diversification.

No Micro caps
No Small Caps
No Emerging Markets
No Small Cap International
No Reits
No Fixed Income

Plus Four stocks does not give adequete diversification-there is too much company risk.
